The Sessional Staff Program is designed to be customised to the specific requirements of your student group and Department/School.
This program explores principles and practices of tertiary learning and teaching, with a particular emphasis on the teaching and assessment contexts found at CQU. This information is underpinned by policy and the Seven Principles of Good Practice in Undergraduate Education (Chickering & Gamson, 1987).
This website includes links to useful resources, which will assist sessional staff in their teaching and assessment processes.
Details of the program are available on this site, and further enquiries should be directed to Academic Staff Development Unit , DTLS.
Participant registrations are essential to allow for adequate preparations to be made.
Note: All new members of staff are also required to complete the university wide Orientation to CQU. More information can be obtained from Staff and Student Services
